The Zilogic RTU, also known as the BlackKite-RTU, is a versatile and cost-effective remote monitoring system designed to support M2M cloud platforms through HTTP and MQTT protocols. This device offers a wide range of features and interfaces, making it an ideal choice for acquiring, monitoring, and controlling remote field devices.
One of the standout features of the Zilogic RTU is its support for cloud-ready HTTP/MQTT device protocols. This allows for seamless integration with popular cloud platforms, enabling real-time data transmission and remote management. Additionally, the device offers IO expansion with an optional ModBus interface, providing even more flexibility for connecting and controlling field devices.
The Zilogic RTU offers a highly configurable data transmission interval, starting from as low as 30 seconds. This allows users to customize the frequency of data updates based on their specific needs, optimizing GPRS traffic and conserving resources. The device also features configurable device-generated SMS alerts for IO state changes, ensuring that users are promptly notified of any important events or anomalies.
With its internal FLASH memory, the Zilogic RTU can store up to 24 hours of data during GPRS outages, ensuring that no valuable information is lost. The device also offers two-level authentication for remote device access, providing an added layer of security. Optional GPS support is available for location tracking, allowing users to accurately monitor the whereabouts of their assets or vehicles.
In terms of interfaces, the Zilogic RTU features dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity, ensuring reliable and stable communication. Status LEDs are included, making device installation and troubleshooting a breeze. The device also offers digital and analog inputs for remotely monitoring field sensors, as well as digital outputs for controlling devices.
